Here at One Upland, we understand that maintaining a healthy lifestyle is important to our residents, which is why we built a great gym and bonus Spin/Yoga room, giving you plenty of ways to stay fit and healthy at One Upland! You don’t need to be a health nut or fitness buff to begin and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Here are some tips from our resident experts to keep you moving throughout the Summer and well into Fall.
IT’S ALL ABOUT GOALS
Setting a goal, whether it be losing a stubborn ten pounds, feeling confident in your skinny jeans, or accomplishing an athletic feat, is the ideal way to kick off a new wellness routine. Everything is easier when you have a friend by your side. Making exercising social gives it a fun edge and makes you more likely to follow through with a plan. Invite your bestie to take a ride on One Upland’s Spin bikes and enjoy the virtual reality guide, teach your partner how to unwind after a long week with some basic yoga moves, or simply lace up and take a jog through our community with your pet (don’t forget to bring a treat!).
With all this exercise, you’re bound to work up an appetite! Lucky for you, our kitchens feature tons of counter space and top of the line appliances, perfect for whipping up a delicious post-workout meal.
